Celebrating a decade of business excellence

MESH is proud to announce that 2011 marks the company’s 10th anniversary.
The business has been through a great many changes since its ‘birth’ in 2001 and these changes have shaped the positive philosophy and pro-active service attitudes of all partners and staff.

One thing that has never changed though is the motivation to deliver true business excellence.

MESH would like to thank all customers, partners and staff for 10 years of trust, loyalty, cooperation and goodwill.


The history

MESH GmbH was founded in 2001 by Ernesto Fries Urioste, Human Gharavi and pso online gmbh. Starting with a single rack and a ‘big idea’ the pair nurtured the fledgling company and substantial growth quickly followed. Help was needed with the organization’s growth, so in 2004 Alexander Wolf was appointed as Managing Director.

Within three years MESH was the first Level 3 ‘Premium Master Reseller’ in Europe and in 2006 the company was awarded 17th place in the Deloitte Technology ‘Fast 50’ [PDF file].

2007 saw more business accolades, when the Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft e.V. placed MESH in the top five of Business Internet Service Providers.

In 2008, Claudia Gharavi, former deputy of Alexander Wolf, was appointed as successor and she became the first female CEO of a significant, European Internet Service Provider.

In the same year, MESH opened their first ‘High Power Density Colocation Floor’ in Dusseldorf to meet the ever increasing demand for reliable, high quality Colocation, providing up to 15 kVA per rack.

By the end of 2009, more ISO certificated data centers across Europe had been commissioned. This was quickly followed by more certifications with the stringent Datenschutz regulations.

At the beginning of 2011, opened their 30th POP and 4th Colocation data center in the heart of Dusseldorf.

Also in 2011, MESH celebrates ten years in business and released their Enterprise Grade Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform and the innovative Solution as a Service concept (SoaS).

Today MESH is a vibrant, financially healthy and forward-looking company that is 100 per cent owned by its founders and management.
