Responsibilities:

In this position you are responsible for the acquisition and conversion of new customers as well as for maintaining and considerably increasing our existing customer base.

Your tasks include up-selling, establishing forecasts, quarter-oriented thinking and implementing planned sales and marketing measures for a specific target group and distribution area.

You advise customers, support the realisation of ambitious infrastructural solutions, conduct negotiations and prepare sales documentation.

Requirements:

Preferably you have finished your studies and possess a distinct commercial hunting instinct. You have been employed successfully in Sales, in particular in the area of solutions that call for explanation, preferably in the area of IT-infrastructure, Outsourcing and Virtualisation. You are fully up-to-date with the usual sales methods. Due to your good communication skills and distinct customer focus, combined with strong negotiating skills, you are able to increase sales success-oriented. Your process-orientated and strategic approach enables you to conclude complex projects and tasks successfully. You enjoy working in a team and report to your Sales Manager in regular intervals.

VMware/Storage Infrastructure Architect (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• Independent maintenance of equipment (HP and Netapp)
• Further development of MESH Cloud platform
• Technical advice on various projects
• Implementation of customer-specific requirements
• Joint customer support in cooperation with sales and marketing departments
• Participation in the on-call service to ensure 24/7 support

Requirements:

• Completed training in the IT sector (ideally a degree or a comparable qualification)
• Very good knowledge of virtualisation/ VMware (VCP certificate will be an advantage)
• Very good knowledge of storage architecture
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux
• Good written and spoken German and English

Network Engineer

The role:

The key task involves configuring, managing/administrating, upgrading and trouble-shooting MESH’s own, European network and backbone. The network consists of a heterogeneous router landscape (Cisco, Juniper and Brocade). The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out occasional maintenance work to the equipment mentioned above.

Further responsibilities:

• Setting up, managing and issuing IP addresses (IPv4/IPv6)
• Handling BGP and OSPF
• Setting up, configuring and overseeing MPLS, VLANs, firewall and VPN
• Analysing and controlling DDOS
• Setting up and managing DNS
• First-level support
• Being part of the on-call service to ensure 24/7 support

Requirements:

• A degree or substantial training in routing, switching and engineering, supported by at least 5 years professional experience
• A broad knowledge spanning different manufacturers of network technologies, eg: Cisco, Juniper, Brocade/Foundry
• In-depth experience of TCP/IP
• Good written and spoken German and English
• Customer-focused approach and strong communication skills
• Ability to think systematically and analytically as well as conceptually
• Solutions-based, structured and effective working methodology
